Lloyd Bosworth gained the degree
of Associate of Applied Science with Distinction in optical technology
from Monroe Community College in 1971. He further gained, with
distinction, a degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University
of Rochester 1976. Lloyd was employed at the Eastman Kodak Company
Research Laboratories for 28 years. He pioneered research in digitally
addressed photo-electrophoresis, which led to evaluation of digitally
addressed electro-optical recording. Lloyd joined Belford Research,
Inc in April 2001. He was the first employee and is a cornerstone
of the company. He has engineered and has engineered the production
of ultra-thin devices and the sophisticated equipment for their
